Conceived and constructed
by P.T. Barnum, The Barnum Museum has proudly served Bridgeport and Connecticut
since 1893. Standing prominently on Main Street, the ornate, exotic architecture
defines Bridgeport's cultural heritage and distinguishes the city's uniqueness,
a symbol of achievement and creativity, an instrument of learning and a bridge
from the past to the future.
